It's August!!

This has been a fun week.  I started my club visits with the first one at The Rotary Club of White Rock Peach Arch. President Lyle and his club welcomed me with an almost full house of Rotarians.

From there, I traveled to MacDonald’s, yes MacDonald’s as in hamburgers, for the Cloverdale Rotaract club meeting.  No, we did not have hamburgers but they had a very nice meeting room.  If you ever get down, go to a Rotaract meeting, our future is in good hands with these young people.  What a joy it was to join President Jennifer, Rotaractors and several District level Rotarians..

The 26th found me at The Rotary Club of Abbotsford in the capable hands of President Martin.  Here too, I was welcomed and made to feel at home.

On the 27th, bright and early, I attended the meeting of The Abbotsford Sumas club under the direction of President Wendy.  I inducted the newest member of their club and the first for me for the new year.  What a great way to start the year.

A short distance away I found myself at The Rotary Club of Chilliwack Fraser.  There may be a bit of competition going on as I inducted three new members into this club.  President Nick is well on his way to attain his goals for the coming year.

After a lovely evening with many of the Rotarians from the Chilliwack area, I attended the early morning meeting of Chilliwack Mt Cheam.  President Dave led the meeting where there was lots of fun and laughter with happy bucks and good-natured fellowship.
